Zomia Collective's Parvati Valley 2025 Charas Season Tour

There’s something up there... Past the last road, past the last power line: something ancient, green, and breathing.
Come find it.

Mornings come slow here.
Chai steaming in clay cups,
fog curling off the river,
bells from distant temples drifting through the trees.
The mountains don’t care what day it is.
Shepherds pass with flocks and crooked sticks,
barefoot kids chase dogs through the fields and cannabis grows in quiet rebellion.

This valley has its own rhythm and if you stay long enough, your body starts to remember it.
We’ll move slow.
Not with checklists and clipboards,
but with our feet in the mud and our hands on the plants.

You’ll learn to rub charas the old way: fresh, wild and resinous -
from people who’ve done it their whole lives.
No shortcuts. No solvents.
Just resin, sun, and skin.
We’ll walk the fields with farmers, talk landrace genetics over chillums and trace terpene expressions back through bloodlines most breeders have never heard of.

You'll stay with families who’ve grown these plants for generations, listen to their stories, share their meals, walk their trails.
This is a crash course in real cannabis: how to see it, grow it, understand it, preserve it.
We’ll talk selection, stabilisation, acclimation, and why diversity still matters.
And we’ll laugh a lot too. Because it’s not a classroom, it’s a living, breathing, high-altitude archive. And you get to live in it for a while.

This isn’t a luxury tour.
It's a once in a lifetime chance to experience real cannabis culture and meet its custodians.
Chillums, seed collecting, phenohunting and rubbing.
You’ll be walking. Sleeping in ancient Himalayan homes. Eating local food. You might get rained on. You’ll definitely get resin on everything you own.
Nothing you can't handle.
Plus, we'll be there every step of the way.
If you’re curious, respectful, and down to learn: then you are exactly who we’re here for.

Parvati Valley, India: October 2025.
Three weeks of phenohunting, seed collecting, learning, laughing, and rubbing.
We'll pick you up from Delhi Airport and take care of everything from there.
All meals, accommodation, and guidance included. Just bring boots, curiosity, and a little reverence.
If you’re feeling the pull, follow it.
We're ready to take bookings.
You can reach out, ask anything, or just sit with it a while.
I’ll be there... sticky-fingered, barefoot, and probably a very stoned.
See you in the Himalayas!
